Interior Design ProcessStage 1: Initial Consultation - Free of charge. During the initial consultation we will visit you at your home or premises to discuss the full interior design process. We will take a detailed brief from you as to exactly what you are looking to achieve to determine your likes, dislikes, colours and ideas. We will discuss space saving options with you and talk about the best way to implement some new ideas that fit in with your lifestyle. Whether it’s a classic or contemporary look you are hoping to achieve, we will ensure on getting it ‘Right First Time’.Stage 2: Design/Sample Board - Charged per room. Once you are happy with the initial consultation, we will request samples from suppliers for you – soft furnishings, wall coverings, paint and flooring samples and pictures of any new furniture. We will present this to you on an A2 sample board. This process usually takes around 7-10 days. The sample board gives you an idea of what the end result is going to look like.Stage 3: Stage 3: Project Management - Hourly Fee. If you are happy with the sample board and overall design ideas and would like to go ahead, we will produce a quote for you for the overall cost of the project including the furniture, decor, soft furnishings and flooring and tradesmen costs if required. The project management fee can either be billed at various stages throughout the project (at the end of the project if less than 4 weeks) or we will estimate the amount of time the project will take and quote you a one off fee upfront. Some customers prefer this as they know exactly how much they are paying. This fee will not change unless there is additional work to be carried out during the project which requires an extra hourly charge. |
